Solve of low cost to elevate the energy efficiency in the sugar mills stations

Abstract

The present work is carried out in the Sugar Company “Héctor Rodríguez”, with the objective of giving answer to deficiencies detected in a carried out energy diagnosis. They took technician-organizational measures, and they were carried out works guided to the saving and rational use of electric power through decrease of consumptions with solutions of low cost. The electric consumptions are compared before in the industry and after having applied the measures and the saving potentials are obtained that allow elevating the energy efficiency of the industry. It is demonstrated that without investing in teams and technologies, they can be carried out actions that alone they depend on technical knowledge, it disciplines, organization and control.
