This work has been carried out in order to obtain clean technologies in the productive process of ethanol starting on the merging of the environmental management tools and total quality one to the analysis process, propitiating favourable scenery to increase the application level of solutions of proactive character, achieving positive global impacts. The applied strategy was based on ISO 9000 Quality management and 14000 environmental management rules. The main problems of the process were identified which generate an inadequate technical, economical and environmental development of industry through the evaluation of technical, economical and environmental indicators of the productive process. Also were evaluated different alternatives to solve those problems. The main problems identified were: contamination by CO2 and wastewaters of distillation process, also the low efficiency and the over consumption of water in fermentation stage. The following order of alternatives was suggested for its application: recover of CO2, cooling system for water in fermentation and the automatic control of the mixer, which were generated through the evaluation on integrated form of technical, economical and environmental aspects.
