Abstract

This work has analyzed the biosorption capacity of bagasse from sugar cane milling onto metallic species from galvanics waste water; keeping in mind several parameters in the process. It was demostrated the high capacity of biosorption of chemical modified bagasse over the natural bagasse. The biosorption process using bagassse modified should be seriously considered for removal of metals from effluents.
