The paper shows how, starting from an assessment of the technological, environmental and economic constraints, a developed market strategy of a sugarcane facility in the province of Misiones, Argentina runs. The strategy is based on current trends in the sugarcane industry, and as a collaborative work by three universities in the south with the support of a Technology Park, the investment alternatives are defined to save the
existing limitations.
The key issues and actions to be achieved in the scale up studies are conceptualized. It is presented a proposal of a method for the scale up study to an industrial level of ethanol production technology from lignocellulosic wastes, which will prepare research results for transfer to the business sector.
A strategy for international collaboration for the development of a technology for enzymes collecting and recycling is defined, and by technological surveillance according with the proposed procedure, the requirements for industrial scale technology are determined. Running steps of the scaling procedure are implemented and validated, defining the different actions of the members of the scientific community.
It emphasizes the need to reduce investor’s costs defining actions of the international scientific community to achieve technical-economic feasibility in the joint assimilation of emerging technologies in the shortest period of time
