PROPOSAL OF REVAMPING A FIBERS BOARD PLANT IN A DIVERSIFIED SUGAR

Abstract

In our country, it is possible to produce fiber and particles boards from sugar cane, in different places, with a remarkable decrease in the productions, caused by the economic situation and paralyzation of some them. The main goal of this work is to proposal of revamping of fiber board’s plant that will allow achieving sustainability in the market and a financial recovery company, starting from the use of capacities and existent equipment in the same one. It is carried out a diagnosis of all equipment in the plant. The mass and energy balance are determined starting from the new revamping alternatives in the whole productive process and it is analyzed the revamping proposal and their influence economically in the technological process, obtaining satisfactory results.
