The present work is focused to evaluation of the pretreatment stage of sugar cane bagasse for ethanol production. They were analyzed different alternatives, evaluating Organosolv pretreatment using acid catalyst. For this analysis a 2k complete factorial design was used; 3 independent variables were analyzed, which are: time, ethanol % and liquid-solid ratio. The efficiency of the pretreatment was evaluated through the enzymatic hydrolysis.
