Evaluación técnico económica de alternativas de producción de etanol a partir de bagazo de caña de azúcar

Abstract

In this work was made a comparative technic –economic analysis of the possibilities of ethanol production from xilose and glucose or ethanol production from glucose and furfural from xilose. It was consider a second stage of Organosolv pretreatment by the higher quality lignin separation and the Presac system for glucose fermentation with S. cereviceae yeast. In the study are analyzed both alternatives including moreover, the lignin supply for raw material from other productions. The cost of ethanol liter, the cost of production and PRD were considerer economical indicators. The results show that the alternative considering the ethanol productions from xilosa present lower cost by ethanol liter and PRD upper to 6.5 years, but higher values of the cost of production with relation the alternative that considering the furfural from xilosa.
