Abstract

Entertainment has always been one of the most desired activities by society to cover their leisure time. Sports, cinema and theatre, museums, amusement parks, music concerts and other shows are part of the so-called "leisure culture", which has become an economic activity by itself. Access to these events entails having an entry or ticket, which accredits the rights acquired by paying, generally, a fee. These payment or reservation vouchers are usually delivered in the form of printed paper. The general objective of the present study is to carry out an analysis on the energy savings that involves the use of digital tickets. For this, a streamlined life cycle analysis for different formats will be carried out to determine which is the most energy and economically sustainable, or simply better for the environment.
