Abstract

In 2015, the International Organization for ISO Standardization published the 14001 requirements for an Environmental Management System with a new structure, which highlights the identification of environmental aspects and impact assessment with a life cycle perspective. In this work an analysis of how to address this situation is carried out based on the experience of work carried out by the Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) Cuban Network. Steps are proposed to establish environmental aspects with such a perspective, based on identifying e general stages and sub-stages in product and / or service life cycle. The application is presented in a company dedicated to projects elaboration as an study case.
