The material volume behavior need in cylindrical vessel whit bottoms and heads flat,filling whit gas and used in the sugar cane industry

Abstract

In the present work the behavior of necessary material volume in cylindrical pressure vessel with flat heads and bottoms when in them gases are stored or processed is analyze. The mathematical expressions are obtained by the authors considering relating this parameter to the inner diameter, height and the thickness of the walls, in three different vessels designs; appearing later graphical comparative with the behavior of this volume when varying the capacity of storage and/or pressure of work, in a same and different designs.
