Abstract

The paper presents a methodology that can be used in industry to calculate the ecological footprint. The procedure takes into account international experience and adapting to the conditions of the Cuban sugar industry. The application of the methodology to measure the environmental performance of industry, this performance is influenced by technology, technological discipline and application of cleaner production measures. This tool allows space-time assessments of different industries.
