DEFECTS IN LAMINATE STEEL SHEETS USED IN THE DOMES MANUFACTURE FOR BOILERS STEAM IN THE SUGAR CANE INDUSTRY

Abstract

Take in account, the importance of the laminates sheets control used in the boiler steam dome fabrication, the article refer the mains defects in theses kinds of laminate products, classifying theses in internal and external in function of its localization in the laminate sheets and depending of its origins, in defects which its origin is due to the ingot or in defects due to the transformation. Furthermore the work gives a detailed characterization of one of the most important defects in laminate sheets.
