Abstract

In Cuba, dry powder type pesticides have been produced in Juan Luis Rodríguez Company, using imported talc. Among these productions is the 15 % Mancozeb
fungicide (Mancozeb P 15). Therefore, this work objective was to obtain stable formulations of 15 % Mancozeb fungicide, using different Cuban minerals as diluents,
for the substitution of the import raw material. Formulations were obtained by the classic procedure of mixing the technical product with the minerals: zeolite, calcium
carbonate and gray kaolin. Accelerated storage study and its corresponding physicochemical analyzes following the established norms were carried out to
formulations. The bioactive content variations after the stability study did not exceed the permissible deviations in zeolite and gray kaolin formulas. Stable 15 % Mancozeb formulations were achieved using Cuban minerals as zeolite and gray kaolin.
