The environmental impacts of the sugar industry cause a direct incidence in the population, either for the emission of particles, polluting gases and liquids or solids residues that hinder the environmental reparation of the establishments due to the technological backwardness of the industry and the scarce of environmental education at the labor communities and general population. Due to the former information, is necessary to take into account a great interest in decrease the environmental impact from the agricultural stage to the industrial one. The diversified sugar cane industry develops a group of new residues and the vinasse appears to be the one that produces the higher environmental impact. However the efficient management of this residues can produce significant benefits if we decided to produce Biogas or Fodder Yeast where the finals effluents streams can be used as irrigation water like a closing cycle option, avoiding in this way the environmental pollution .With this work we wanted to show how the man can handle the industrial waste in order to decrease the environmental
impact in the most friendly way.
The present work is carried out through the analysis of data, starting from the revision of national and international bibliographical sources. It has the objective of presenting the use and reuse alternatives of the main effluents and by-products of the sugar agroindustry, especially the vinasses of stills, as an element of special importance in the managerial environmental administration.
