Was carried out, with innovative style, a study previous investor for the creation of plants dedicated to the industrial treatment of yucca that included technological surveillance, selection of selections and variants, identification of processes required in each variant and technological design of the equipment. They were selected as selections: flour, cassava and starch. The costs of acquisition of the equipment were automated through equations that relate to the main parameter of design with the capacity of work of the installation what allowed, with the help of the balances of materials and energy, to determine the indicators economic financiers of the project for the alternatives proposals varying the work capacity, that which constitutes in the Cuban context a technological novelty. Had sifted, the selection cassava was discarded in attention to its low competitiveness in the national market and a plant of flour was selected with drying in pieces and in pastas, one of starch for traditional way and a variant that combines the three selections looking for to insert the co-product starch in these outlines to improve the projects financially. With the indicators of profitability and sensibility of the investment the technological alternatives and the volumes of production of the products chord were recommended with the demands of the market.
