Abstract

The paper provides a prospective study of food industry companies in the provinces of Villa Clara and Cienfuegos, with a competitive vision in five years. In the prospective solution combines the established methods of future scenarios and SWOT analysis, with the Complex Analysis Processes under uncertainty. The possibilities of producing citric acid products derived from sugar cane and the effect of scale sizes in these productions are studying. Finally, several examples of application are shown
