Abstract

A regression analysis is made in turbo generators of the sugar industry between the specific consumption of steam and the main parameters of operation of these equipments as the initial and final pressures of the vapor, temperatures, efficiencies and powers. Equally, it is made between the total consumption of steam and the mentioned parameters. Finally, it is improved the traditional calculations for the steam consumption of these equipments.
