Abstract

This paper offers an analysis of different alternatives of supply of fuel to replace the necessities of heat and electricity in a process. As method for the analysis it has been used a combination of lineal programming method with an analysis of multiple regression and the Solver tool of the professional software Excel, being determined the less expensive combination of a mixture of four fuels for a energetically integrated system of production of raw sugar, pulp and paper of cane trash. The results arrives to demonstrate that the good solution is not always the rational way of satisfying the demand and as alternative the cost to pay reasonably for the solution but advantageous.
