Abstract

The maximum use of sugarcane biomass for electricity generation and commercialization is vital for sugar cane industry. In present work, a set of alternatives for cogeneration plant and sugar cane factory integration is proposed and characterized, as well as two energy schemes for the generation of electricity. In both cases the objective is the maximum use of sugar cane biomass for electricity generation andcommercialization. In addition, a set of initial elements that must be evaluated for an adequate project of biomass-based electricity generation and commercialization is shown.
