Abstract

Introduction:
Risk management is a guiding principle that organizations follow today in organizing their processes to optimize resources and facilitate decision-making. It is analyzed through business systems such as occupational health and safety, quality and the environment, for the defined life cycle.
Objective:
To measure occupational and business risks through the management of maintenance process planning for assets, minimizing their impact on the business system.
Materials and Methods:
In data collection and processing, empirical and theoretical methods are used to measure the risks defined in the planning of the maintenance process and for solutions.
Results and Discussion:
The application of the “six Ms” method (manpower, raw materials and materials, machines, measurement, work method, and environment) in the analysis of risks associated with maintenance planning management allows for the consolidation of documentation related to the management of tangible fixed assets and the development of real capacities in workers for current and future studies on replacement and technological innovation.
Conclusions:
The use of the stages of maintenance process planning management, integrated with quality systems, occupational health and safety, and the environment, contributed to minimizing or mitigating the impact of these risks on the business system.
