Abstract

The present work was done in the UEB of Sugar Industryin Héctor Rodríguez Enterprise from Sagua la Grande municipalitywhere the main activity is the production of crude sugar with required quality parameters in order to satisfy its customers. It was developed an environmental diagnosis and since this the main environmental aspects were reflected and also the impacts that produced the activities developed during the process of obtaining sugar, affecting directly the environment. The results constitute a reference for the direction of the entity and they will permit to face the main economical, technical and environmental problems so as to be eliminated or mitigated. It has relevance because high uses of water are detected and a dad use of energy. It has a practical value because man is the only one capable to mitigate the environmental impacts that affect the obtainment of cleaner productions as a necessity at the moment to life the sustainable development in the analyzed enterprise.
