Abstract

In the work it is carried out the simulation of the process of chloration of the propene using the software HYSYS, using the thermodynamic package Peng-Robinson. The simulation is implemented with taken real data
of the literature and the design of the distillation column is carried out leaving of a column model Fenske-Underwood-Gilliliand. They are also carried out cases of study where the possibilities are valued of using the
models of reactor adiabatic or isothermic in the process and to modify the feeding relationship Chlorine /Propene.
