Abstract

At the present time, to several decades of arising risk analysis, it is the angular stone of safety management in many industries, but practice continues not very extended in academic entities. The identified problem has to do with the absence of a Loss Prevention Management System that allows identify activities, equipment, materials or management strategies that can be loss causes or potential sources of human, financial and material being necessary to make decisions in hierarchical to order them and propose improvements to minimize the problems identified. In this work, a methodological guide is designed, which includes the use of processes safety tools to consider in developing a management system for loss prevention, to help identify, reduce and / or remove the causes of accidents by fire, explosion, or contamination, and financial costs associated with them.
