Abstract

The main work is to evaluate the impact of technological surveillance of the production of ethanol from sugar cane bagasse as lignocellulosic residue in the formulation and pursuit of new projects and partnerships with the productive sectors. In addition, it offers a theoretical analysis of the current scenario in the field, the role of the so-called information society and the role of external information management in knowledge management and projects related to the topic. Finally, we present a SWOT matrix setting out the main advantages and drawbacks of implementing this technology in Cuba and Latin America in general and discusses a number of activities to minimize weaknesses and threats in producing ethanol from bagasse sugar cane, and lignocellulosic residue essential.
