Abstract

Inside of the most aggressive pollutants in the sugar industry and their derived are the still vinasse. In this work the results of the evaluation of the growth of Chlorella vulgaris are presented in different vinasse concentrations; besides the physical-chemical characterization of having said residual, explaining in a general way the effect of the components of the vinasse, on the growth of this microalgae and their contained of a chlorophyll. The employment of the vinasse like half of non alone cultivation provides an option for the use of its chemical properties physique, but rather also, the biomass of obtained C. vulgaris presents a high added value, considering that enters its more recent applications is its employment as renewable source of energy in the biofuels production.
