Abstract

The present work has objective to analyze the possibilities of revamping raw wax factory for the production of high value-added products so that could exploit the existing facilities at plants and refined crude wax of a sugar company. For this evaluation results are used by specialists in obtaining UCLV biodiesel and high molecular weight alcohols directly from mud which have demonstrated is feasibility in simple technology and applicable to any country’s sugar company. It analyzes an estimated economic impact of the proposed revamping in crude wax plant.
