Abstract

In this paper the use of the Integrated Management Systems in the Cuban sugar production is analyzed. Coherently to the strategic management process that takes place in the Cuban sugar industry, an initial conceptualization of these systems and an evaluation of their utility for any organization are performed. Finally, some recommendations for applying the integrated management systems approach in this business context are
provided.
