Abstract

Nonconformity by defects in plastic items quality of the in Cepil Company may be caused by a malfunction of compression system and compressed air distribution. Losses in pipe sections, local resistances in distribution lines and pressure values reaching consumers were determined according to compressors output pressure and compared with the minimum pressure required for equipment properly work. The higher-pressure drops occurred in dental brushes production and the minimum compressor outlet must be between 5 and 5.78 atmospheres. Mathematical models describing this behavior are reported.
